FTU Tutorial - Witchcraft



For this tutorial i am using the witch that came with the scrapkit.
Feel free to use any tube that you like.

~Supplies Needed~
Tube of choice
Scrapkit used was Witchcraft made by Kittz which can be downloaded from here
If you do not have this scrapkit please feel free to use another one with similar elements
Tag Template 6 made by me which can be downloaded from here
Vix Big Mask (My fave) which can be downloaded from here

Let's Get Started

Open my template in psp - image - canvas size - set to 850 x 750 - add a new raster layer above the background layer & fill with white - delete the credits layer

On the circle layer go to selections - all - float - defloat - fill with black - copy & paste your tube as a new layer - keep pasting it until your circle is full



I also mirrored a couple of my tubes - re-arrange them to liking - selections - invert - hit delete on each tube layer - selections - none - merge together all your tube layers - duplicate - change the blend mode of the original to 

Luminace (L) - on the duplicate go to adjust - blur - gaussian blur - set to 3.00 - change the blend mode to soft light - effects - plugins - Screenworks - Dot Screen - copy & paste the frame with bats on it as a new layer - resize so that it fits nicely around the circle layer - add a drop shadow

On the large rectangle layer go to selections - all - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 3 - fill the original layer with a colour from your tube - adjust - add/remove noise - 60% - add a drop shadow

On the large grey rectangle layer go to selections - all - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 3 - fill the original layer with a colour from your tube - adjust - add/remove noise - 60% - add a drop shadow

Merge together the circle layers go to selections - all - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 3 - fill the original layer with a colour from your tube - adjust - add/remove noise - 60% - add a drop shadow

Copy & paste your tube as a new layer - position - duplicate - adjust - blur - gaussian blur - 3.00 - change the blend mode to screen - reduce the opacity to around 90-80% - on the original go to selections - all - float - defloat - modify - expand by 2 - add a new raster layer & move it below the tube layer - fill with white - adjust add/remove noise - 60% - add a drop shadow

Copy & paste any elements from the scrapkit you are using as new layers & position around your tag - i also applied a gradient glow to mine - here are the settings i used



Add drop shadows

With your font add your name - position - adjust - add/remove noise - 60% - apply the same gradient glow as earlier - add a drop shadow

Add a new raster layer above your background layer - fill with a colour from your tube - layers - new mask from image - apply Vix's mask - merge group

Don't forget to add the artists correct copyrite - crop & save tag and you are done!
