No Scraps Tutorial - Blurred Lines

Let's Get Started

Open the template in psp - image - canvas size - set to 850 x 750 (Can always resize later)  - add a new raster layer - fill with white - delete the credits layer

Add a drop shadow to the frame layer - on the frame back layer - selections - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - choose 2 colours from your tube/kit - select gradient - foreground & background - repeats 3 - angle 45 - fill the new layer with the gradient - copy & paste your tube as a new layer - position to the left - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - none - duplicate - image - mirror - merge together - duplicate again - on the original change the blend mode to luminance (L) - on the duplicate go to adjust - blur - gaussian blur - 3.00 - change the blend mode to screen - effects - plugins - penta.com - color dot



Add drop shadows to the circle back layers - on the left black circle layer - selections - all - float - defloat - copy & paste your tube as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - none - duplicate - image - mirror - merge down - duplicate again - on the original change the blend mode to luminance (L) - on the duplicate go to adjust - blur - gaussian blur - 3.00 - change the blend mode to soft light - effects - texture effects - blinds



Merge together the pink rectangle layers - selections - all - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - fill with white - selections - none - delete the original layer - with one of your pixel fonts add some words - add a drop shadow - position to the left - duplicate & position to the right - merge your text together with your white rectangle layers - reduce opacity to around 50% or to your liking - add a drop shadow - 1 - -1 - 40 - 4 - black

On the big pink circle layer - selections - all - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - fill with your gradient - effects - plugins - penta.com - color dot



Selections - modify - expand by 4% - add a new raster layer & move it below your gradient layer - fill with white - effects - plugins - dsbflux - bright noise 50% - add a drop shadow - delete the original circle layer

On the square 1 layer - selections - all - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - fill with black - selections - modify - expand by 4% - fill with your gradient (using 2 different colours from your tube) - selections - none - add a drop shadow - delete the original square layer - on the square you just filled go to effects - plugins - penta.com - default settings

Repeat this for the square 2 layer using different colours from your tube & the same jeans settings

On the square 3 layer go to selections - all - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - fill with a colour from your tube - effects - plugins - xero - fritillary



Selections - modify - expand by 4% - fill with your gradient (using 2 different colours from your tube) - selections - none - add a drop shadow - delete the original square layer

On the pink rounded rectangle layer go to selections - all - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - fill with your gradient - effects - texture effects - blinds - same settings but change the colour to black & uncheck the top box - add a drop shadow to both rounded rectangle layers

Copy & paste your main tube as a new layer - position - add a drop shadow

- TEXT ON A CURVE -

Set your foreground to a bright colour (Doesn't matter, we will be deleting this layer) - background set to nil - preset shapes - eclipse - line width 2 - select your font & have it set to floating - draw out a circle that fits around the circle noise layer (See my tag) - DO NOT CONVERT TO RASTER - add a new raster layer - with your font add some words so that it fills the entire circle, if it doesn't fit add some spaces between the words or change the font size - selections - none - delete the circle layer you just drew - effects - eye candy - gradient glow - glow width 3.00



Add a drop shadow & move it below the small circle noise layer

Open up a new canvas - 300 x 300 - transparent background - with your other pixel font add some text - objects - align - center of canvas - convert to raster - effects - plugins - mura meisters - copies - tiling



With your selection tool set to eclipse draw out a circle - copy & paste on to your tag - position in the bottom left corner - add a drop shadow - duplicate - position in the top right corner

Add a new raster layer below all your other layers - open the mask in psp - layers - new mask from image - apply the mask - merge group - effects - plugins - VanderLee - Unplugged-x - Interlace - default settings

With your main font add your name - position - apply the same noise settings as earlier - add a drop shadow

Don't forget to add the artists correct copyrite - crop & save tag and you are done!
