PTU Tutorial - Addicted

Tube of choice
Scrapkit used was Addicted made by Tamie which can be purchased from here
If you do not have this scrapkit then please feel free to use another one
Template174 made by Kristin which can be downloaded from her blog here
Vix_Mask109 which can be downloaded from here
Filmstrip frame which was made by me and can be downloaded here

Let's Get Started

Open Kristin's template in psp - image - canvas size - change to 800 x 750 - delete the credit layer - add a new raster layer & move so that it's below all the other layers - fill with white

Also delete the top circle layer because you won't be needing it :D

Copy & paste frame 3 as a new layer - position to the center - with your magic wand select inside each of the frames - selections - modify - expand by 3 - add a new raster layer & move it below the frame layer - fill with black - selections - none

Back on the frame layer select the left frame - selections - modify - expand by 3 - copy & paste your tube as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - none - move below the frame layer - repeat this for the other 2 frames - merge together the tube layers - duplicate - on the original change the blend mode to luminance (L) - on the duplicate go to adjust - blur - gaussian blur - set to 3.00 - change the blend mode to screen - effects - plugins - xero - radiance



Effects - plugins - vanderlee - unplugged-x - interlace



Add a drop shadow to the frame layer

On the black rounded rectangle layer go to selections - all - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 4 - fill with a colour from your tube {I used 2 colours from my tube & selected gradient} - selections - none - effects - plugins - dsbflux - bright noise - set to 50% - add a drop shadow & delete the original layer

Merge together the blue rectangle layers - selections - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 4 - on the original layer fill with your gradient {Use another colour from your tube} - selections - none - effects - plugins - dsbflux - apply the same settings as earlier - add a drop shadow

Merge together the pink circle layers - selections - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 4 - on the original layer fill with your gradient {Use another colour from your tube} - selections - none - effects - plugins - dsbflux - apply the same settings as earlier - add a drop shadow

Merge together the maroon rectangle layers - selections - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 4 - on the original layer fill with your gradient {Use another colour from your tube} - selections - none - effects - plugins - dsbflux - apply the same settings as earlier - add a drop shadow

Merge together the grey rectangle layers - selections - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 4 - on the original layer fill with your gradient {Use another colour from your tube} - selections - none - effects - plugins - dsbflux - apply the same settings as earlier - add a drop shadow

Copy & paste my filmstrip as a new layer - with your magic wand draw around all the frames except for the first one & hit delete so that you now only have 1 frame - selections - none - position at the top left - move below your large rounded rectangle noise layer - duplicate - image - mirror - image - flip - with your magic wand select inside the top frame - selections - modify - expand by 4 - add a new raster layer & move it below the frame layer - fill with a gradient of your choice - copy & paste your tube as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - none - duplicate the tube layer - on the original change the blend mode to luminance (L) - on the duplicate go to effects - plugins - xero - radience - same settings as earlier - go to adjust - blur - gaussian blur - set to 3.00 - change the blend mode to soft light - effects - plugins - vanderlee - unplugged-x - interlace - same settings as earlier - repeat these steps for the bottom frame

Merge together the frame layers - effects - plugins - eye candy 4 - gradient glow - set glow width to 3.00



Copy & paste your tube as a new layer - position - add a drop shadow - duplicate - adjust - blur - gaussian blur - 3.00 - change the blend mode to screen - reduce opacity to around 80%

Add a new raster & fill it with black - with your pixel font add some words  - objects - align - center of canvas - convert to raster - add a drop shadow - effects - plugins - muras meister - copies - tiling



Merge down into your black layer - layers - new mask from image - apply your mask - merge group - resize if needed - drag this layer so that it's below all your other layers

Copy & paste any elements from the scrapkit as new layers - position around your tag - add drop shadows

With your font add your name - position - apply the same noise & gradient glow settings as earlier - add a drop shadow

Don't forget to add the artists correct copyrite - save tag and you are done!
