PTU Tutorial - Feelin' The Beat

~Supplies Needed~
Tube of choice
Scrapkit used was Beat Babe made by Tamie which can be purchased from here
If you do not have this scrapkit then please feel free to use another one
Template168 made by Kristin which can be downloaded from her blog here
Mask of choice, the one i am using is Becky%5FMask042. If you know who this mask belongs to can you please let me know then i can give them credit, thank you

Let's Get Started

Open Kristin's template in psp - image - canvas size - change to 800 x 750 - delete the credit layer - add a new raster layer & move so that it's below all the other layers - fill with white

Copy & paste frame 3 as a new layer - resize if needed - with your magic wand select inside all the frames - selections - modift - expand by 4 - copy & paste a paper from the scrapkit as a new layer - move below the frame layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - copy & paste your tube as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - copy & paste your tube again - position to the right - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - none - merge your tube layers together - duplicate - on the original change the blend mode to Luminance (L) - on the duplicate go to adjust - blur - gaussian blur - set to 3.00 - change the blend mode to either screen or soft light depending on the brightness of the tube you are using - effects - texture - effects - blinds



On the frame layer go to selections - all - float - defloat - selections - modify - expand by 3 - add a new raster layer - fill with white - move below the frame layer - selections - none - effects - plugins - dsbflux - bright noise - set to 50% - add a drop shadow

On the circle layer go to selections - all - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper from the kit as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - add a new raster layer & move it below the paper layer - selections - modify - expand by 4 - fill with a colour from your tube {I used 2 colours from my tube & selected gradient} - selections - none - effects - plugins - dsbflux - bright noise - set to 50% - add a drop shadow & delete the original circle layer

On the rounded rectangle layer go to selections - all - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper from the kit as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - add a new raster layer & move it below the paper layer - selections - modify - expand by 4 - fill with a colour from your tube {I used 2 colours from my tube & selected gradient} - selections - none - effects - plugins - dsbflux - bright noise - set to 50% - add a drop shadow & delete the original layer

Merge together the blue rectangle layers - selections - all - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper from the kit as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - add a new raster layer & move it below the paper layer - selections - modify - expand by 4 - fill with a colour from your tube {I used 2 colours from my tube & selected gradient} - selections - none - effects - plugins - dsbflux - bright noise - set to 50% - add a drop shadow & delete the original layer

Merge together the pink rectangle layers - selections - all - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper from the kit as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - add a new raster layer & move it below the paper layer - selections - modify - expand by 4 - fill with a colour from your tube {I used 2 colours from my tube & selected gradient} - selections - none - effects - plugins - dsbflux - bright noise - set to 50% - add a drop shadow & delete the original layer

Merge together the square layers - selections - all - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper from the kit as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - add a new raster layer & move it below the paper layer - selections - modify - expand by 4 - fill with a colour from your tube {I used 2 colours from my tube & selected gradient} - selections - none - effects - plugins - dsbflux - bright noise - set to 50% - add a drop shadow & delete the original layer

Copy & paste the equalizer as a new layer - position along the bottom of the middle frame - effects - plugins - eye candy 4 - gradient glow - glow width 3.00 - change the colour boxes to match your tube



Add a drop shadow

Copy & paste any other elements from the scrapkit as new layers & position around your tag - add the same gradient glow settings to each one - add drop shadows

Copy & paste your tube as a new layer - position - if you are using a full tube then use your selection tool on point to point & draw around the bottom of your tube where it overlaps the frame - hit delete - selections - none - cuplicate your tube - adjust - blur - gaussian blur - set to 3.00 - change the blend mode to soft light - add a drop shadow to the original tube

Add a new raster layer & move it below all the other layers - fill with black - layers - new mask from image - apply your mask - merge group - resize if needed

With your font add your name - position - apply the same noise & gradient glow settings as earlier - add a drop shadow

Don't forget to add the artists correct copyrite - save tag and you are done!
