PTU Tutorial - F*ck You!




For this tutorial i am using the amazing artwork by @KiwiFireStorm

~Supplies Needed~
Tube of choice
Scrapkit used was Lick Me which was made by Dran and can be purchased from here
If you do not have this scrapkit then please use another of your choice
Template170 which was made by Kristin and can be downloaded from here
F*ck You wordart which was made by me and can be downloaded from here {re-colour if needed}
Vix_BigMask001 made by Vix which can be downloaded from here

Let's Get Started

Open Kristin's template in psp - image - canvas size - set to 800 x 750 - on the background layer fill with white - delete the credits layer

Copy & paste one of the frames as a new layer - resize by 60% - delete the circle layer from the template - with your selections tool set to point to point draw around the black circle part of the frame - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - move below to frame layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - add a new raster layer and move below your paper layer - fill with black - selections - none - reduce the opacity of your paper to around 40%

On the frame layer go to effects - plugins - eye candy 4 - gradient glow - change the glow width to 3.00 - change the colour boxes to match your tube/kit



Add a drop shadow

On the left pink circle layer - selections - all - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - in your colour palette select 2 colours from your tube - gradient - foreground/background - angle 45 - repeats 3 - fill the new layer with your gradient - copy & paste your tube as a new layer - position to liking - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 4 - on the original circle layer fill with your gradient - selections - none - effects - dsbflux - bright noise - set to 50% - add a drop shadow {these are the settings we will be using throughout this tutorial}

Duplicate your gradient circle layer - image - mirror - duplicate your tube layer - image - mirror - delete the original right circle layer - merge your tube layers together - duplicate - change the blend mode on the original to Luminance (L) - on the duplicate layer go to adjust - blur - gaussian blur - set to 3.00 - change the blend mode to soft light - effects - plugins - xero - fritillary



Merge together the purple reactangle 2 layers - selections - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper from your kit as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 4 - on the original layer fill with your gradient {Use another colour from your tube} - selections - none - add a drop shadow

Merge together the blue rectangle layers - selections - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper from your kit as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 4 - on the original layer fill with your gradient {Use another colour from your tube} - selections - none - add a drop shadow

Merge together the purple rectangle 1 layers - selections - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper from your kit as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 4 - on the original layer fill with your gradient {Use another colour from your tube} - selections - none - add a drop shadow

Merge together the thin black rectangle layers - selections - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper from your kit as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 4 - on the original layer fill with your gradient {Use another colour from your tube} - selections - none - add a drop shadow

Add a new raster layer and move it to the bottom of all the other layers - fill with black - layers - new mask from image - pply Vix's mask - merge group - resize if needed - reduce the opacity to liking

If using my wordart then copy & paste as a new layer - effects - plugins - eye candy 4 - gradient glow - same settings as you used earlier - add a drop shadow

Copy & paste any other elements from the scrapkit you are using - position around your tag - add the same gradient glow settings and add drop shadows

Copy & paste your tube as a new layer - position - selections - all - float - defloat - selections modify - expand by 3 - add a new raster layer and move it below your tube layer - fill with white - selections - none - effects - plugins - dsbflux - bright noise - same settings as earlier - add a drop shadow

With your font add your name - position - apply the same gradient glow settinmgs as earlier - add a drop shadow

Don't forget to add the artists correct copyrite - save tag and you are done!
